"A drawing is simply a line going for a walk; a line is a dot that went for a walk, ” mused the father of abstract art, the Bauhaus master, Paul Klee. Usually a method used for interesting surrealistic portraits, artist Mei Chien takes the One Line technique further with her art. In 2010, she used one continuous line to draw a masterpiece with elements of the World Expo, Singapore and China and was a finalist in the competition held in World Expo 2010 Shanghai China. To her, it’s a symbolism of the connection between states, communities and individuals.
